Mainly for E-mobility and industrial drives

For E-mobility, MAZARO’s SVT is most suitable, with variable ratios and a  very high efficiency. It is called ‘Single stage’ because the SVT contains only one continuous variator (one set of 3 traction wheels), whereas the RVT contains two sets of 3 traction wheels).

The SVT can be designed with a spread up to 10 (or more if needed).

In current heavy duty E-trucks and E-buses the E-motor is not able to provide both the climbing capabilities and the top speed requirement with single gear reduction. The SVT solves this problem without traction interruption during smooth and noiseless ratio variation. The motor is kept on its best efficiency curve at all times whatever the load or speed condition, better than a multi-gear transmission ànd at lower cost.

SVT: efficiency map

Its current measured efficiency (generation 2) is 95.5% while the latest SVT (generation 3) is designed for an efficiency of 98% which is a unique feature.

Especially the flat efficiency map for nearly all operating conditions makes the driveline efficient in real driving conditions. Even when changing the ratio, the high efficiency is retained.
